Leisure

"What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare."
These few lines from the poem Leisure by William Henry Davies reminds me of our day today lives. We keep running after money, fame and do all sort of worldly gimmicks so that we stand out in the crowd, make a name for ourself. It's true that we humans want to achieve greatness to show others that we are better than the rest. But are we not forgetting the very essence of life by just running in the rat race. When was the last time you stopped to see that bird sing or that rose bloom. When was the last time you saw the sun rise and then set...Life wont give you or me a second chance. It's only once that we get this life.Life is not about competing with others or just be better to satisfy your ego.Life is to be lived...do the things you want to do,explore those unexplored and exotic places...sing your song...write your story...love the person who loves you...wait and see that distant rainbow after the first shower of the rain.Break away from the shackles of being the right person, doing the right thing at the right time. Its not about being right or wrong, its about living life the way you want.
